breastfeeding in public can be an issue at times. I think it’s perfectly fine for a mother to breastfeed her baby in public, but with some consideration towards other people around her, by covering her breasts from pondering eyes. You can wear special nursing clothes which allow ‘just enough’ opening to nurse your baby. I prefer to use a nursing cover, which does not limit your choice of clothes! There are  a lot of nursing covers selling all over the net (or any baby specialty shop)…or better still, you can simply make your own

DIY idea!

If you don’t want to purchase a nursing cover, I recommend you make your own. Simply wrap a shawl over your upper body and nurse your baby discreetly. The baby will be comfortable, so will you. The shawl will also double as a nice blanket for baby, or a pillow, or even a stroller cover (from the bright sun).
